The peroneal tendons are the tissues found on the outside of the foot attaching to the base of the 5th metatarsals. Peroneal Tendinopathy is most commonly in runners and walkers that have history of inversion sprain or abnormal foot mechanics due to pain /injury in points like the big toe.
